The Dare Skywalk and Edge – an adrenaline-filled fundraiser on the 9th of September 2023!

After the great success of our event at Tottenham Stadium last year, Mind in Haringey are returning to host this incredible test of bravery and nerve again in 2023. On the afternoon of the 9th of September, we will be holding our most ambitious community fundraising event of the year. We are aiming to raise £10,000 of vital funds to ensure we can continue to deliver the wide range of services we provide to our community in Haringey.

The Dare Skywalk and Edge challenge is a test of nerve and an experience like no other in Haringey. Put your bravery to the test by travelling to the roof of Tottenham Stadium before completing a full circuit of the structure at this great height. Then, for those who are courageous enough, the option to abseil down the side of the stadium! We are asking each of the participants taking part to raise £250 in sponsorship to complete this incredible challenge whilst raising vital funds for Mind in Haringey, one of the leaders in mental health provision in Haringey.

The day promises to be a great event for the whole family, the atmosphere will be vibrant, there will be a special prize for the person who manages to raise the most, a prize for the most ‘creative’ fundraising post on social media, as well as some possible bonus surprises (especially for Spurs fans!).

Coming out of the Covid Pandemic, the cost-of-living crisis, difficulties in housing, and the deteriorating climate have put a huge amount of pressure on residents in Haringey. As a result of this we have continued to see the demand for our services rise, particularly for young people. We work tirelessly to ensure the sustainability and longevity of our services. We need YOUR support to continue to provide vital mental health services to the most vulnerable members of our community in Haringey.

Keen to take part? The next step is to sign up and get involved to help us reach our ambitious goal. Can’t make it? No problem, support us by making a donation to others taking part or sharing this event far and wide with your networks to get as many people on board as possible.

To sign up and receive the participants’ pack, or if you want to know any further details, please email [email protected]. We truly appreciate every donation, every mention, every share, and every step you are going to take atop the stadium!

Yours sincerely,

The Mind in Haringey Community Fundraising Team
