Haringey Suicide Prevention Group Project Officer

Location: Finsbury Park, London

Closing Date: Friday 27th November

Salary: £24,500 pro rata per annum

Hours: 8 per week

The Haringey Suicide Prevention Group is an inter-agency group leading the strategy for suicide prevention in Haringey, hosted by Mind in Haringey.

The role involves: overseeing and coordinating meetings, researching areas of discussion for meetings and is responsible for ideas to increase membership.

The role offers the opportunity to gain an insight into mental health services, as well as many local support services.  There is also scope for the right applicant to develop the role.  New ideas and proposals are both encouraged and supported.

Young Peoples’ Project Worker, Haringey Wellbeing Network

Location: Finsbury Park, London

Closing Date: Friday 11th December 5pm

Salary: £24,000 pro rata per annum

Hours: 16 per week

The Haringey Wellbeing Network (HWN) is a mental health and wellbeing community support service for the London Borough of Haringey. The young peoples project worker will facilitate and support vulnerable young people between the ages of 16-21yrs in transition from adolescence to adulthood.

The Young peoples project worker is to facilitate 1-2-1 and group sessions for young people, who have been referred directly from our Haringey CAMHS or young adults teams.

The aim of this service is to offer a brief intervention and continue to support the wellbeing of young people who have been discharged from CAMHS or the young adults service.

All work will be conducted in the London Borough of Haringey.
