What is it?

Citizens Advice Haringey (CAH) provides free, confidential and impartial advice to its community and campaigns on big issues affecting people’s lives. Their goal is to help everyone find a way forward, whatever problem they face.

How does it work?

Mind in Haringey is one of CAH’s outreach partners in Haringey and offers 4 appointments per week, on Tuesdays between 10am-3pm. These appointments are available for Mind in Haringey service users by referral from the Mind in Haringey team.

Citizens Advice are the primary service offering advice and information in Haringey. They are trained to help with issues around benefits, housing, family and relationships, money and debt, healthcare, legal rights and more.

The CAH advisors do not have mental health training and cannot advise on these topics. Citizens Advice operates separately to Mind in Haringey mental health services and if you wish to access these you must register directly with the Mind in Haringey staff; they do not run a drop-in service.
