What is it?

Citizens Advice Haringey (CAH) provides free, confidential and impartial advice to its community and campaigns on big issues affecting people’s lives. Their goal is to help everyone find a way forward, whatever problem they face.

How does it work?

Mind in Haringey is one of CAH’s outreach sites in Haringey and offers 4 appointments per week, on Mondays between 2pm-5pm, to see an advisor.

Citizens Advice are the primary service offering advice and information in Haringey. They are trained to help with issues around benefits, housing, family and relationships, money and debt, healthcare, legal rights and more.

The CAH advisors do not have mental health training and cannot advise on these topics. Citizens Advice operates separately to Mind in Haringey mental health services and if you wish to access these you must register directly with the Mind in Haringey staff; they do not run a drop-in service.

How can I access it?

Please book an appointment in advance, there is no drop-in service available and usually a waiting time of about 4 weeks before you can be seen.

To find out when the next available appointment is, please contact us by email or telephone. Alternatively, call Citizens Advice Bureau directly for more information.
