This hub provides a directory of helplines, apps and support services, alongside suicide prevention cafés, hubs and sanctuaries across London and regions of England. These services offer compassionate support outside of hospital settings, helping people experiencing a crisis to feel safe, supported and connected.

We have also compiled a list of support available to people bereaved by suicide, as well as those supporting someone experiencing suicidal thoughts.

Andy’s Man Club

Andy’s Man Club is a men’s suicide prevention charity offering free peer-to-peer support groups. The sessions are confidential, informal, and non-judgmental, creating a safe space for men to talk.

The Listening Place

This service provides free face-to-face support with trained volunteers for adults struggling with thoughts of suicide.

YANA – Body & Soul

This organisation offers 20-week dialectical therapy for young people (aged 16-30) who have previously attempted suicide.

Training

Zero Suicide Alliance Training

This free, online, foundational training is for anyone who may know somebody struggling with thoughts of suicide. It is suitable for professionals and members of the public with no prior knowledge of suicide prevention. There are courses aimed at supporting different audiences, including autistic people, students, and people in prison.

ASIST Training (Mind in Haringey)

Teaches practical suicide intervention skills, focused on recognizing signs and creating safety plans using the proven ASIST model.
