We are very pleased to be launching our Winter Fundraising Campaign this year! As we come into the winter months, at Mind in Haringey we are reminded that this can be a deeply challenging time of year for many.
There is a pressure to deliver the ‘perfect Christmas’ that we are shown in the media. This creates pressure for those with families and also increases feelings of isolation for others who are in less traditional family structures.
On top of this, the new year can bring a lot of difficult feelings forward for people with the idea of beginning another year as we continue to struggle through the cost of living crisis as a community.
As such, we are launching our fundraising campaign hoping to raise £1000 to ensure that we can continue to provide vital mental health services for our community. Fundraisers like this are integral to ensuring we remain sustainable as an organisation, remain consistent in the support we can offer, continue to identify gaps in the services available in the borough and endeavour to fill them.
This winter we need YOUR support to decorate our Christmas tree with fundraising milestones. Each new milestone reached will add a bauble to of fundraising tree.
