Who are we?

Funded by the Mayor’s Office Violence Reduction Unit, the MyEnds initiative seeks to reduce serious youth violence across London.

The MyEnds 2 Haringey programme in Northumberland Park seeks to foster partnerships with Statutory and Voluntary and community organisations that support young people through a number of interventions to help them thrive.

As part of this program, we at Mind in Haringey offer one-to-one mental health support to young people facing emotional challenges. This service is designed to be accessible and youth-centered, making sure the individual needs of each young person are met.

Our multi-skilled, experienced and passionate consortium partners are led by Bridge Renewal Trust who were also originally part of MyEnds 1 in Tottenham Hale and includes Godwin Lawson Foundation, Father2Father, North London Partnership Consortium, and newly added Tottenham Hotspur Foundation.

To find out more about the interventions each consortium partner delivers and how to refer, you can read the info pack here

How it works:

The MyEnds Homecooked 2 provides a 12-week intervention program, delivered through one-to-one sessions with our dedicated Youth Emotional Support Worker.

Each session offers a safe space for young people to:

  • Talk openly and explore their emotions.
  • Work towards personal and achievable goals.
  • Engage with creative tools like art therapy, mindfulness exercises, and practical problem-solving strategies to foster growth and emotional development.

How can I access the service?

Our service is open to young people aged 11-25 in Northumberland Park. Accessing support is simple:

1. Self-Referral: You can refer yourself by completing a quick online form or contacting us directly.

2. Parent/Teacher/Professional Referral: Parents, teachers, or professionals who work with young people can refer someone who might benefit from the service.

3. Community Outreach: Our team is active in the community, and you can meet us at local events or workshops to find out more about the service.

Once referred, we’ll arrange an initial consultation to understand the young person’s needs and create a tailored support plan.
