Next Steps 

What is it?

Next Steps is a specialist employment project designed to empower and support young adults 18-25yrs of age living with mild to moderate mental health needs.

The Next Steps Project will support you in your journey to employment, through building your current skills, giving you the tools you need to manage day to day life, building your confidence and improving your self-esteem. Next Steps will help you to take the necessary steps to become employable, building realistic and effective pathways, as well as giving you self-management tools and practical employability support.

Our aim is to help you develop a pathway into employment, through gaining relevant work experience or training.

What will I get?

Next Steps will provide:

  • 12 weeks of engagement
  • Individualised 1:1 support for 6 weeks
  • Coping with Life Skills, an 8 week group programme, learning to share experiences and build self esteem.
  • Employability skills, through a 4 week group training work-shop; showing you how to make a CV, cover letter & gain interview skills.
  • Support in progressing into voluntary or training positions.
