Mental Health Awareness Week

Next week is Mental Health Awareness Week.

We will be at The Mall in Wood Green on Wednesday 10th May - visit our stall between 10am and 4pm to chat to us.

The theme this year is 'Surviving or Thriving?' Mental Health Foundation says: "Good mental health is more than the absence of a mental health problem. This Mental Health Awareness Week, 8-14 May 2017, we are going to look at mental health from a new angle. Rather than ask why so many people are living with mental health problems, we will seek to uncover why too few of us are thriving with good mental health." [link]

If you have anything to say about this theme and what it means to you, please do share it with us on Facebook and start a conversation.

Our Wellbeing Activities aim to help people to thrive rather than just survive by providing the opportunity to socialise in a relaxed environment and take part in meaningful and therapeutic activities like gardening, art, walking and Reiki. If you'd like to get involved or find out more, give us a call on 0208 340 2474

During Mental Health Awareness Week we will also be delivering training to organisations in Haringey, to improve their understanding of how to encourage and support positive mental health.
