Mind in Haringey announced as The Mall Wood Greenís charity of the year
The Mall Wood Green is delighted to announce that Mind in Haringey has been selected as the community shopping centre’s ‘Charity of the Year’ for 2017.
Mind in Haringey provides information, advice and support to anyone who is affected by mental health problems in and around the borough. They work to prevent mental health problems, promote mental wellbeing and ensure those with mental health problems are respected and included in the local community with the ultimate goal of enabling and supporting positive mental well-being to improve lives.
The Mall will be hosting a number of fundraising activities, events and campaigns with Mind in Haringey throughout 2017 and will be launching the charity partnership with a unique ’10 Keys to Happier Living’ campaign, details of which will be released in the coming weeks.
Isaiah Fapuro, Marketing Manager of The Mall Wood Green commented:
“We are thrilled that Mind in Haringey is our 2017 ‘Charity of the Year’. As a centre we want to improve the customer experience for our shoppers, and with that comes a responsibility to understand our customers and improve our service and offering. Mind in Haringey is a wonderful service for the borough’s residents and we will work closely with them throughout the year to help promote their fantastic support services and, most importantly, help them raise vital funds to safeguard the charity’s longevity.”
Lynette Charles, CEO of Mind in Haringey, added:
“Mind in Haringey is delighted to have been chosen as The Mall’s ‘Charity of the Year’. Around one in four of us face a mental health problem every year, so we hope to raise awareness of our services and continue to support Haringey people and promote wellbeing in the local community."
