Mental Health First Aid Training

We are currently delivering Mental Health First Aid training, which is fully funded by Haringey for front line staff who live, work, or volunteer in the borough.*

The two-day course teaches participants how to recognise the signs and symptoms of common mental health issues and ways to respond appropriately. This is particularly relevant for those that work with the public, such as GP surgery staff and police and fire officers, but is useful to anyone.

This programme has been made possible thanks to funding from Public Health, and Haringey CCG’s “Promoting mental health and emotional resilience”.

There is also a half day MHFA-Lite course available to be delivered to groups - please contact us for more details.

The two-day standard course will take place once per month, from October 2015.

For full details of the courses and a full list of dates for 2017, please download the course description below.
