If I make an online donation, will my credit card details be protected?
Online donations are made through PayPal, who are committed to ensuring your financial security. PayPal protects your financial information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems. When you use PayPal your financial information is not shared with Mind in Haringey, and once your payment is complete you will be emailed a receipt confirming the transaction. If I make an online donation, will my personal details be protected?
PayPal employs a number of safeguards such as firewalls, data encryption and various access controls to protect your personal information. These security measures reduce the risk of your information being lost, misused, altered or accessed by unauthorised personnel. For more information please visit the PayPal website.

If I have participated in or organised a fundraising event though the national Mind organisation, will the money I raise go directly to Mind in Haringey?
In this case the money you raise will go directly towards national Mind’s own charitable objectives. Mind in Haringey may benefit from this through subsidised training, small grants and other affiliation benefits, but if you would like your donation to go directly to Mind in Haringey please use one of the methods outlined below or contact us directly for more information about the ways in which you can help us fundraise.

How do I pay in the money I’ve raised?
There are various ways in which you can send us the money you have raised, you can put the money into your own bank account and send us a cheque, make a bank transfer or donate it via the website. Please do not send cash in the post, if you would like to donate a cash amount please hand it in directly at the Mind in Haringey office. 

Can I use the donation administration site Cafonline.org?
This website founded by CAF (Charities Aid Foundation) allows you to make one-off donations to a wide range of charities that can be found throughout the UK, including Mind in Haringey. It also provides advice on the most tax efficient ways to donate. 

How does Gift aid work?
Gift Aid increases the value of your donation to Mind in Haringey at no extra cost to yourself by enabling us to claim the tax back on your donations.

If you are a UK tax payer, simply Gift Aid your donations and increase your support of Mind in Haringey's work. For every 1 given, Mind in Haringey will receive an extra 25 pence, so if you make a 1 donation and gift aid it, Mind in Haringey will receive 1.25!

All you need to do is make a simple Gift Aid declaration including your name and full residential address including postcode. This will cover all donations that you have made to Mind in Haringey in the last four years and any that you choose to make in the future.
