Coping With Life Skills

Coping with Life Skills for Adults is a set of short psycho educational group workshops based on the Cognitive Behaviour Therapy Model (CBT). It focuses on how you think about the things going on in your life – your thoughts, images, beliefs and attitudes; and how this impacts on the way you behave and deal with your emotional problems.

What are we offering?

We are offering a set of 6 week workshops which will be for 2hrs per week, on the following:

  • Building Self-Esteem
  • Managing Depression
  • Managing Anxiety
  • Managing Anger
  • Stress Management

Advantages for clients taking part in this service

These workshops can help you manage problems, for example anxiety and depression, and make them less likely to have a negative impact on your life.

There is always a risk that bad feelings you associate with your problem will return, but with your CBT skills it should be easier for you to control them. This is why it is important to continue practising your CBT skills even after you are feeling better and your sessions have finished.
